Dante has first-chair experience in jury and administrative trials, and he has argued before the Supreme Court of Ohio. He is well-versed in commercial litigation and often represents corporations in large disputes, including class actions, multidistrict litigation and complex commercial matters. Dante has considerable experience representing financial institutions and defending companies in the fast-emerging area of data-privacy litigation. He also provides general legal advice to business clients. Early in his career, Dante spent six months on secondment to the London litigation department of a Fortune Global 500 bank based in the U.K., which provided him a unique perspective on practicing law from the client’s viewpoint.

Dante is the hiring partner for the Cleveland office and active in the community.

<li>Defended former bank holding company in adversary proceeding involving claim to ownership of an approximately $200 million tax refund.</li>
<li>Defended public company in declaratory-judgment action related to interpretation of merger agreement’s indemnification and escrow provisions.</li>
<li>Defended industrial-services contractor against competitor in trade secret-litigation.</li>
<li>Obtained foreclosure judgment on behalf of regional bank in case involving multimillion-dollar commercial loans.</li>
<li>Represented the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (pro bono) at administrative trial, resulting in the Supreme Court of Ohio’s Board of Professional Conduct finding that an attorney committed an ethical violation. Successfully argued before the Supreme Court of Ohio to uphold finding.</li>
