Skip brings a deep understanding of trust and estate planning, tax law and business law to his private wealth practice. He frequently assists clients with gifting strategies, succession planning, charitable planning, sales of closely-held business interests to irrevocable trusts, trust related transactions involving life insurance and complex estate and trust administration matters. He has extensive experience drafting various trust agreements such as intentionally defective grantor trusts (IDGTs), grantor retained annuity trusts (GRATs), irrevocable life insurance trusts (ILITs) and long-term testamentary trusts, as well as preparing and reviewing federal estate and gift tax returns. A thorough advisor, Skip works jointly with clients and their team of advisors to ensure tax compliance and help them meet their multi-generational and business planning goals.
