Jessica's work includes domestic and international trademark selection and clearance, prosecution and enforcement, as well as inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). She also handles intellectual property licensing, intellectual property due diligence, domain name disputes, counterfeit goods and customs matters, rights of publicity and litigation involving trademarks, trade dress, unfair competition and copyrights. Jessica regularly advises clients on e-commerce issues including advertising, promotions and social media marketing. She is also a certified data privacy specialist through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Jessica has represented clients across a wide range of industries, including leading companies in the food and beverage, beauty, fashion, e-commerce, medical and entertainment sectors. In 2017, she served as seconded in-house counsel for a major energy drink company, where she gained firsthand experience in brand management and business decision-making and deepened her understanding of commercial priorities surrounding trademark strategy and enforcement. Her combined experience in enforcement, counseling and prosecution enables Jessica to offer comprehensive, well-rounded advice that helps clients protect and strengthen their intellectual property portfolios.
