Jessica's work includes domestic and international trademark selection and clearance, prosecution and enforcement, as well as inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). She also handles intellectual property due diligence, domain name disputes, counterfeit goods and customs matters, diversion, rights of publicity and litigation involving trademarks, trade dress, unfair competition and copyrights. She regularly advises clients on e-commerce issues including advertising, promotions and social media marketing. Jessica also counsels clients on the structuring, negotiation and drafting of intellectual property and commercial agreements, including intellectual property license agreements, coexistence agreements, settlement agreements, sponsorship and endorsement agreements, influencer and marketing agreements, and other transactions involving the protection, commercialization and monetization of intellectual property assets. Drawing on her experience with complex brand enforcement programs, she helps clients develop and implement customized strategies, policies, and foundational enforcement measures to address unauthorized online sales, diversion, gray market activity, counterfeiting and marketplace abuses. She is also a certified data privacy specialist through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
