Global Trademark and Brand Protection

<li>Advises clients on domestic and international trademark matters, including clearance, prosecution, maintenance, enforcement, portfolio management and brand protection strategies.</li>
<li>Manages complex global trademark portfolios, coordinating with foreign counsel worldwide to secure, maintain, protect and enforce trademark rights across multiple jurisdictions.</li>
<li>Represents clients in trademark disputes before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office&#8217;s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), including opposition and cancellation proceedings involving likelihood of confusion, descriptiveness, dilution and other trademark-related claims.</li>
<li>Counsels clients on copyright, licensing and intellectual property ownership issues, including the development, protection, commercialization and enforcement of intellectual property assets.</li>
<li>Conducts intellectual property due diligence in connection with mergers, acquisitions, financings and other corporate transactions, assessing trademark, copyright, and related intellectual property assets and identifying potential risks.</li>
<li>Advises clients on false advertising, unfair competition and brand enforcement matters, including claim substantiation, comparative advertising, consumer protection considerations and disputes involving competitor marketing practices.</li>
<li>Drafts, negotiates and advises on a wide range of intellectual property and commercial agreements, including trademark licenses, copyright licenses, coexistence agreements, consent agreements, assignment agreements and other intellectual property licensing arrangements.</li>
<li>Develops and implements trademark enforcement and brand protection strategies, including trademark watch programs, cease-and-desist campaigns, online enforcement initiatives, TTAB proceedings, and coordination with domestic and international enforcement efforts.</li>
