Known for her proactive approach to brand protection, Mary Kate regularly combats counterfeiting worldwide through coordinated enforcement efforts, including litigation, supply chain analysis and asset tracing. She works closely with U.S. and international government agencies, as well as third parties such as online marketplaces, merchants, logistics companies and cargo carriers, to protect brands across industries including fashion, beauty, luxury goods, consumer products, media and technology.

<li>Obtained a preliminary injunction for a video game company against an unauthorized game emulator, ultimately securing a consent judgment and permanent injunction in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.</li>
<li>Secured a win for a jewelry and accessories company in a lawsuit brought against it by a vendor by obtaining a summary judgment decision holding the vendor and its owner committed fraud in the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York.</li>
<li>In the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, successfully defended a lace designing and textile manufacturing client over a motion to dismiss against unauthorized use of its laces which allowed the client to continue to pursue its willful copyright infringement claims against an international franchise in the apparel industry.</li>
<li>Secured a victory for multinational consumer packaged goods company in an anticounterfeiting case that prevented distribution of 17,280 units of expired and counterfeit mayonnaise. Obtained multiple ex parte temporary restraining orders and a preliminary injunction in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.</li>
<li>Successfully represented a premier media and entertainment organization in high-profile trademark opposition before the TTAB, prevailing after trial to protect a world-renowned entertainment brand from unauthorized registration.</li>
<li>During law school, served as judicial extern to The Honorable Justice Donal O’Donnell of the Supreme Court of Ireland.</li>
