Paige Carey focuses her practice on single plaintiff litigation involving discrimination, retaliation and harassment, and also advises on a range of workplace issues affecting employers. She represents employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies in matters involving discrimination, sexual harassment, hostile work environment claims, retaliation, contractual disputes and unfair labor practice charges.
Paige regularly conducts research and drafts pleadings, dispositive motions, answers, counterclaims and discovery responses in employment cases. She also counsels clients on compliance under federal, state and local laws including reductions in force, individual terminations, equal employment opportunity and reasonable accommodation obligations, policy development and implementation and the enforceability of restrictive covenants. In addition, Paige prepares position and mediation statements for agency proceedings, drafts severance agreements and general releases for executive and non executive employees and participates in workplace investigations including interviews and written reports.
