Becky Lutzko returned to BakerHostetler as a partner in the Litigation Group in April 2026, after serving as the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Ohio. She served as the district’s chief federal law enforcement officer, leading an office of approximately 175 attorneys and staff, setting enforcement priorities and driving the strategy for complex criminal prosecutions and civil litigation on the government’s behalf. She oversaw complicated, high-stakes matters, including numerous significant False Claims Act cases and cases involving securities, corporate, financial, health care, securities, tax, and other government-program frauds; cybercrime; environmental violations; national security issues; public corruption; Title IX, fair housing, disability rights, and other civil rights matters; Controlled Substance Act violations; money laundering; violent crime and obstruction of justice, among others.  Becky worked closely with Department of Justice officials, federal, state, and local partners and community organizations and leaders.
