  • Represent a firefighting foam manufacturer in multidistrict litigation involving personal injury, property damage and natural resource damages claims arising from the use of aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) containing PFAS.
  • Represent a product registrant in a putative class action case in Puerto Rico brought by plaintiffs alleging personal injury and property damage from alleged emissions of EtO from medical sterilization facilities.
  • Represent a major healthcare company in civil litigation and major federal and state regulatory matters involving the use of EtO in the medical sterilization industry.
  • Represent chemical companies in EPA and U.S. Department of Justice environmental enforcement proceedings involving hazardous air emissions, recordkeeping, labeling, misbranding and unregistered product sales cases.
  • Represented a major international mining company in a CERCLA Section 107 cost recovery matter against aluminum manufacturers involving PCB and chlorinated solvent contamination.
  • Advise manufacturing, distributor and retail clients on PFAS regulatory matters under federal and state laws, including matters involving apparel/clothing, cookware, children’s products, cosmetics and California’s Proposition 65.
  • Serve as counsel to the trade association for the lead-battery recycling industry, whose members include companies that own and/or operate lead-battery manufacturers, lead-chemical manufacturers, secondary-lead smelters and lead fabricators, as well as consultants and vendors to the lead recycling industry.
  • Advise clients on FIFRA and TSCA regulatory issues.
  • Assist clients with Proposition 65 litigation and regulatory compliance.
