Csilla Boga-Lofaro is Discovery Counsel in the firm’s E-Discovery Advocacy and Management team, where she supports discovery strategy in complex litigation, investigations and regulatory matters. She advises case teams and clients on defensible, cost-efficient approaches to preservation, collection, review and production of electronically stored information (ESI), with a particular focus on large-scale, data-intensive disputes.
Csilla oversees multi-phase document review workflows, including the integration of analytics and AI-assisted review technologies to improve accuracy, consistency and efficiency. She works closely with litigation teams, technology providers and clients to design and implement scalable discovery strategies, manage vendor and contract attorney teams, and ensure alignment with evolving best practices and court expectations.
In addition to managing complex discovery efforts in commercial litigation, class actions and regulatory investigations, Csilla supports the development and execution of ESI protocols, contributing to drafting, refinement and implementation to ensure alignment with case strategy, client expectations, and evolving best practices, supervising privilege and confidentiality determinations, and supporting fact development for depositions, briefing and trial. She has particular experience leveraging and validating AI-assisted review workflows, including prompt development and quality control frameworks.
Csilla is a Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) and has completed the Relativity Generative AI Pro Certification. She is an active participant in The Sedona Conference Working Groups on Electronic Document Retention and Production and AI and the Law. She is also a co-author of “Court Guideposts for the Path to Technology Assisted Review (TAR) Adoption,” published in the PLI Course Handbook Series of Electronic Discovery.
