Partner Eric Barnum and Associate Adama Wiltshire will participate in panel discussions at the 16th annual Labor and Employment Law Conference, Nov. 9-12, 2022, in Washington, D.C.
Barnum’s panel is titled “Contingent Worker Discrimination Analysis Following the Diaz Verdict.” He and his co-panelists will discuss the ramifications of the $137 million jury verdict in Diaz v. Tesla and offer practical guidance for balancing business needs with joint employment risk mitigation.
Titled “The Technology of Employee Activism and Employer Response in Today’s Technology Workplace Marquis,” Wiltshire’s panel will address the continuing surge of protests and organizing of tech employees, using recent examples to explore how labor and management are using equipment and operating systems to exercise rights and protect communications.
