Felicity Groth is a partner in BakerHostetler’s Intellectual Property Group with more than 20 years of experience in global life sciences patent strategy and counseling. She advises domestic and international clients on the strategic development of complex worldwide patent portfolios, product development and clearance strategies, and lifecycle development. Clients look to Felicity for support of their large molecule development from conception to launch to post-market activity.
With an extensive background in the life sciences arena, Felicity works closely with clients to understand and facilitate their evolving business goals through strategic IP planning and implementation. She assists clients in developing and implementing effective strategies to enhance IP rights and mitigate IP risks, thereby building strong patent portfolios that protect and promote commercialization of both platform technologies and biological products. She concentrates on the fields of biotechnology, enzymology, genomics, molecular biology, microbiology, immunology and biochemistry, with a focus on nucleic acid-, cell- and protein-based therapeutics and diagnostics, formulations and manufacturing technologies.
