Jennifer Mills has substantial experience in employee benefits, with a focus on health and welfare plan compliance for large employers. With vast knowledge of health care reform, Jennifer has developed an extensive practice with regard to compliance with the regulatory requirements under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and develops strategies for the significant changes that must be addressed under the Act by clients in all sectors, including employers, insurers, and brokers. With an LL.M. in taxation, Jennifer understands the tax perspective of benefits and compensation plans and the tax-driven reforms established by the IRS.
Jennifer advises clients of all sizes, including both for-profit and tax-exempt organizations and governmental entities, in the area of health and welfare benefits. Her work with health and welfare plans includes all areas of plan strategy implementation and administration, including negotiating contracts, plan documentation, benefit disputes, and compliance.
