Lisa Bollinger Gehman focuses her practice on all aspects of trademark, copyright, domain name, dilution, and unfair competition matters. She regularly counsels clients on foreign and domestic trademark procurement, clearance and registration, and manages large portfolios. She also works on matters relating to trademark enforcement, anti-counterfeiting efforts, and domain name disputes. Lisa counsels clients on copyright matters, including rights clearance and DMCA compliance. She also represents clients in federal district court litigation, as well as inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).

  • Represented a global financial software manufacturer in a litigation that went to a bench trial in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
  • Successfully defended a clothing brand in a trademark and right of publicity infringement suit in the Central District of California.
  • Successfully represented a college in a UDRP proceeding that resulted in the infringing domain name being transferred to the client.
  • Counseled entertainment and sports industry client on book clearance rights and set up a digital rights management for the images and agreements.
  • Counseled education technology client on music rights licensing and clearance.
  • Assisted with complex assignment of registered and unregistered copyrights and publishing agreements for a well-known author.
