Before joining the firm, Matt served as an Assistant Attorney General for antitrust in the Colorado Attorney General's Office, where he represented Colorado in litigation across the U.S., headed investigations into a wide range of competition issues&nbsp;and worked closely with federal antitrust enforcement leaders. Prior to that,&nbsp;he represented clients in antitrust and other commercial disputes as well as government and corporate investigations in private practice at an international law firm.

<li>Defeated the Department of Justice&#8217;s challenge to a vertical merger of a video distributor and video programmer (dubbed by the Hollywood Reporter as the &#8220;antitrust trial of the century&#8221;). United States v. AT&amp;T, et al.</li>
<li>Won a unanimous jury verdict on claims that an airline distribution services firm&#8217;s contracts with an airline unlawfully restrained competition. US Airways v. Sabre, et al.</li>
<li>Won summary judgment defeating input foreclosure and unlawful monopolization claims regarding a grandfathered drug. Fresenius Kabi U.S., LLC v. Par Sterile Products, LLC, et al.</li>
<li>Represented a major airline in a multidistrict antitrust consumer class action relating to airline capacity. In re Domestic Airline Travel Litigation.</li>
<li>Represented nonparty airline in the Department of Justice&#8217;s challenge to a merger of airline distribution services firms. United States v. Sabre, et al.</li>
<li>Defended a proposed merger of food service distribution firms against an FTC challenge. FTC v. Sysco, et al.</li>
<li>Represented clients in a variety of complex commercial disputes involving business tort, contract, copyright, insurance and securities claims.</li>
