Nikki Morris focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. She represents clients in a wide array of industries, from the initial complaint through discovery, trial and beyond. Nikki has conducted internal investigations and assisted clients in responding to regulatory inquiries. In addition, she has experience with appellate matters.

Oversaw extensive document collection and review, including review of foreign language documents. Performed extensive research and drafted dispositive and non-dispositive motions, and helped navigate the case toward a favorable settlement on the eve of trial.
  • Served as member of the litigation team that represented national solid waste services company against competitor in suit involving tortious interference with customer contracts and related claims. Drafted various non-dispositive motions, including providing research and analysis for motion for temporary injunction. The case resulted in a favorable settlement.
  • Represented client in arbitration brought by former attorney in suit involving excessive fees. Oversaw discovery, including document collection and production, and assisted in preparing the case for mediation. The case resulted in a favorable settlement for the client.
  • Served as a member of the litigation team that represented an energy services company against claims of breach of contract and negligence after power plant failure.
  • Represented the restaurant owner and operator of Texas restaurant involved in the confrontation between police and motorcycle clubs. Drafted several discovery motions and assisted with case-related research.
