Six BakerHostetler Attorneys Offer Federal Tax Policy and Controversy Program

Partners Peter Roskam, Jeff Paravano, Michelle Hervey, Jenny Mills and Susan Hughes, along with Counsel Dave Ebersole, will provide an “Outlook for Federal Tax Policy and Federal Tax Controversy” at a Tax Executives Institute Cleveland Chapter program taking place in Independence, Ohio, on April 20, 2023.

Roskam will discuss the state of play on Capitol Hill and the outlook for tax legislation.

Paravano will cover current IRS and federal tax controversy issues.

Hervey will address controversies faced by corporate partners.

Mills and Hughes will explain how to avoid controversies by designing health and welfare benefit programs that comply with state responses to the recent Supreme Court Dobbs decision.

Ebersole will provide an update on state and local controversies, including Ohio work-from-home withholding litigation and executive stock option income for Ohio executives who later leave the state, among other topics.

A cocktail reception co-sponsored by Tax Executives Institute and BakerHostetler will follow the program.
