Drawing on more than 20 years of experience, Tracy Palovich prepares and prosecutes patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Tracy's primary clients are in the biotechnology, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors, and she works with clients ranging from major corporations to independent inventors. In doing so, she strives to develop close client relationships, treating each client as if they were her only client.
Tracy holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and is well-versed in current techniques and literature in many areas, including organometallic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, industrial chemistry and polymer chemistry, among others. She is also knowledgeable in the patent laws in other regions of the world, including major jurisdictions such as Japan, Korea, Australia, the People's Republic of China, Europe, Canada and Mexico, to name a few.
Tracy is involved in a variety of organizations, often volunteering and mentoring children in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education. She works primarily with young women, striving to pique their interest in science-related studies through presentations and hands-on experiments and activities. Since 2013, she has mentored female undergraduate students in an effort to engage, connect, encourage and guide them in their pursuit of undergraduate degrees in STEM fields.
