Overview

Drawing on more than 15 years of experience, Tracy Palovich prepares and prosecutes patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), primarily for clients in the biotechnology, chemical, and pharmaceutical arena. She has worked with clients ranging from major corporations to independent inventors. Tracy holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and, as a result of her research and experience, is well-versed in current techniques and literature in many areas, including organometallic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, industrial chemistry and polymer chemistry, among others. She is also knowledgeable in the patent laws in other regions of the world, including Japan, China, Korea, Australia, the Republic of China, Europe, Canada and Mexico, to name a few.

Tracy is involved in a variety of organizations, often volunteering and mentoring children in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education. She works primarily with young women, striving to pique their interest in science-related studies through presentations and hands-on experiments and activities. Since 2013, she has mentored female undergraduate students in an effort to engage, connect, encourage and guide them in their pursuit of undergraduate degrees in STEM fields.
