Sassoon concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, investment transactions, corporate finance, and representation of operating businesses. He regularly represents both buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions in a variety of industries and contexts, including auctions, strategic acquisitions, corporate carveouts and acquisitions out of bankruptcy. Sassoon works extensively with private equity firms, venture capital firms, family offices and their portfolio companies in connection with their acquisitions, dispositions, investments, fund formation, joint ventures, commercial transactions, financings, and in securities and corporate governance matters.

Sassoon received his B.A. magna cum laude and M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. cum laudefrom the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
