<strong>Jennifer (Jenna) Solari </strong>joins<strong> BakerHostetler</strong>’s Atlanta office as a partner in the firm’s national <a href="https://www.bakerlaw.com/services/litigation/">Litigation Practice Group</a> and a member of the <a href="https://www.bakerlaw.com/services/white-collar-investigations-and-securities-enforcement-and-litigation/">White Collar, Investigations and Securities Enforcement and Litigation</a> team.

A former federal prosecutor, Solari was with the United States Attorney’s Office for more than a decade. In her role as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Southern District of Georgia, she was senior litigation counsel and, prior to that, deputy chief of the Criminal Division. Solari is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where she served as a trial counsel and lead prosecutor as well as a former special agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.

Solari bolsters both BakerHostetler’s litigation and white-collar benches in Atlanta and joins a deep roster of former federal prosecutors.

Solari joins the firm’s White Collar team, comprising attorneys who have served as legal advisors to Fortune 50 companies and major hedge funds, as well as former advocates for the government. Her arrival helps further strengthen the Atlanta office’s white-collar group, which welcomed <a href="https://www.bakerlaw.com/professionals/brian-f-mcevoy/">Brian McEvoy</a> and team in 2022.

As an AUSA, Solari prosecuted federal crimes involving sanctions evasion, espionage, intellectual property, fraud and money laundering. Her experience prosecuting complicated matters will be a perfect addition to BakerHostetler’s nationally recognized Litigation Practice Group, which was named, for the second year in a row, a BTI “Intimidating Opponent,” one of only 44 firms to receive this recognition.

Her arrival will play a significant role as we further build out our Atlanta litigation team.”

As senior litigation counsel in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Georgia since June 2019, Solari prosecuted the most complex and sensitive cases involving cybersecurity and national security offenses as well as violent crimes.

As an AUSA, Solari served as the Southern District of Georgia’s Anti-terrorism Advisory Council coordinator and as its criminal health care fraud coordinator. She was also the district’s computer hacking and intellectual property attorney and national security cyber specialist, assisting prosecutors and agents investigating and prosecuting cybercrime, particularly in relation to the Electronic Communications Privacy Act.

Throughout her career, Solari has taught courses in counterproliferation, electronic evidence, trade secrets, parallel investigations and computer crimes. She was also a senior instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center from 2006 to 2012. Solari additionally served as a special agent in the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and a senior trial counsel and trial counsel in the U.S. Navy.

At BakerHostetler, Solari will use her skills to help clients protect their businesses and, in many situations, prevent violations before they occur. Her experience working as a federal prosecutor will be an asset to clients as they look to navigate a wide range of legal and regulatory matters.

Solari received her B.A. from University of Richmond and her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law.
