Partner Douglas Grady commented on a pro bono mountain guide matter he took on in a Seattle Times article titled “Washington Climber, Guide Garrett Madison Reflects on his Life on the Mountain.” Published Aug. 2, 2025, the article mentions the lawsuit for breach of contract filed by a customer who didn’t reach the summit as promised due to Madison calling off the expedition for a safety-based precaution. Grady, a former guide, took the case pro bono and won.
