Of Counsel Heather McDonald has been selected as a finalist by the 2026 The American Lawyer Industry Awards for “Mentor of the Year.”
She began her legal career as the only female attorney at her previous firm. Once she gained sufficient experience, she began to mentor those coming up behind her. Mentoring is now her primary professional focus, and she addresses both daily practice and long-term development with her individualized approach.
The American Lawyer Industry Awards honors outstanding achievements in the legal profession. Winners will be celebrated at The American Lawyer Industry Awards 2026, Nov. 12, 2026, in New York City.
