Partner Jimmy Fokas will take part in a panel titled “Accounting Basics and Financial Statements for Lawyers” at PLI’s Bridge-the-Gap I: Ethics and Skills for Newly Admitted New York Attorneys 2026, May 29, 2026, in New York, New York, as well as virtually. The panel will introduce basic accounting principles, helping participants to:
- Familiarize themselves with the accounting principles typically seen by attorneys
- Understand legal issues behind financial statements
- Understand the notes to the financial statements and the story behind them
