Partner Lauren Attard commented on the results of the Los Angeles County and CAL FIRE investigation of the Eaton Fire in an article in the Daily Journal titled “Investigators Blame Edison Equipment for Eaton Fire.” Published Aug. 5, 2026, the article discusses the finding that faulty Southern California Edison equipment caused the deadly fire. The results were made public just as thousands of lawsuits by homeowners, insurers and public entities start moving through the court system.
