Partner Ted Jacobs took part in a panel titled “Responding to Government Investigations in the Era of Data Sprawl” at the 21st Annual Advanced eDiscovery Institute, which was held Nov. 14-15, 2024, in Washington, D.C. The panel examined the issues of document preservation and disclosure obligations, as well as the challenges and best practices for preserving electronic information. Other topics, such as regulators’ desires for increased transparency and guidance on the use of personal devices and third-party messaging apps, were also discussed.
