Also joining is <a href="https://home.treasury.gov/about/offices/tax-policy#:~:text=Assistant%20Secretary%20(Tax%20Policy)%20Kenneth,following%20individuals%20and%20their%20staffs." target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Tax Policy Kenneth Kies</a>. A BakerHostetler alumnus, he is responsible for developing, recommending and implementing federal tax policy on behalf of the Treasury Department. He has also held leading tax policy roles on Capitol Hill at the Joint Committee on Taxation and the Ways and Means Committee. Kies began his legal career with BakerHostetler and later became a partner and chair of the firm’s Tax Practice Group.
