HEADLINES
- The U.S. and Iran have resumed hostilities as Congress returns from its 4th of July recess.
- Attorney General nominee Todd Blanche will have his hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, among several high-profile officials appearing in Congress this week.
- President Donald Trump will travel to Pennsylvania to speak at the Pennsylvania Defense and Innovation Summit.
HOUSE
- The House will attempt to resume legislative business after disagreements among Republicans froze the floor before recess.
- The Foreign Affairs Committee will hold a hearing tomorrow on aligning commercial diplomacy between State and Commerce, with witnesses from both departments.
- Also tomorrow, the Appropriations Committee will hold hearings featuring Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler and Supreme Court Justices Amy Coney Barrett and Elena Kagan.

SENATE
- The Senate will begin consideration of the annual National Defense Authorization Act, as senators return to Washington shocked by the sudden death of longtime Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.
- The Judiciary Committee will hold hearings on the nomination of Todd Blanche to be attorney general.
- The Banking Committee will receive testimony from Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh and Russell Vought, acting director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

WHITE HOUSE
- Today, Trump will participate in a Freedom 250 Grand Prix Showcase.
- Also today, he will meet with Speaker Mike Johnson and National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Richard Hudson.
- Wednesday, Trump will speak at the Pennsylvania Defense and Innovation Summit at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle.
