The Foreign Affairs Committee will hold a <a href="https://foreignaffairs.house.gov/committee-activity/hearings/more-bang-for-the-buck-aligning-commercial-diplomacy-between-state-and-commerce" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hearing</a> tomorrow on aligning commercial diplomacy between State and Commerce, with witnesses from both departments.

Also tomorrow, the Appropriations Committee will hold <a href="https://appropriations.house.gov/schedule" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hearings</a> featuring Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler and Supreme Court Justices Amy Coney Barrett and Elena Kagan.

The Senate will begin consideration of the annual <a href="https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/senate-bill/4784" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">National Defense Authorization Act</a>, as senators return to Washington <a href="https://punchbowl.news/archive/71326-am/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">shocked</a> by the sudden death of longtime Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.

The Judiciary Committee will hold <a href="https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/committee-activity/hearings/the-nomination-of-the-honorable-todd-blanche-to-be-attorney-general-of-the-united-states" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hearings</a> on the nomination of Todd Blanche to be attorney general.

The Banking Committee will <a href="https://www.banking.senate.gov/hearings" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">receive</a> testimony from Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh and Russell Vought, acting director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Also today, he will meet with Speaker Mike Johnson and National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Richard Hudson.

Wednesday, Trump will <a href="https://www.mccormick.senate.gov/news/press-releases/president-donald-j-trump-to-headline-2026-pennsylvania-defense-and-innovation-summit-at-u-s-army-war-college/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">speak</a> at the Pennsylvania Defense and Innovation Summit at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle.
