HEADLINES
- Congress is in Washington for the final week that both chambers are in session before the midterm election.
- Fears over artificial intelligence have reached Capitol Hill after executives from leading companies sounded alarms and vowed to slow development.
- FBI Director Kash Patel headlines administration officials testifying on Capitol Hill this week.
HOUSE
- The House plans to take up Senate-passed legislation imposing sanctions on Russia and Iran.
- The Appropriations Committee will hold a Federal Aviation Administration oversight hearing tomorrow with Administrator Bryan Bedford.
- Also tomorrow, the Science, Space, and Technology Committee will hold a hearing on technological innovation in disaster prevention.

- The Senate will attempt to advance stalled cryptocurrency legislation.
- Tomorrow, the Judiciary Committee will hold an oversight hearing with Patel.
- Wednesday, the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee will hold a hearing on several health nominees, including Chris Klomp to be deputy secretary of Health and Human Services.

- Today, President Donald Trump is participating in policy meetings at the White House.
- Wednesday, he will travel to North Carolina for campaign events.
