Mike Iannuzzi’s diverse practice focuses on the representation of financial institutions, private lenders, borrowers, owners, developers, investors and other entities in all aspects of commercial real estate, debt finance, real estate finance and other business matters. Mike strives to understand the needs of clients, including all aspects of their deals, and factors in concerns outside the legal realm to develop a holistic understanding of client goals.

His financing experience includes senior secured and unsecured financings, mezzanine financings, warehousing and loan on loan facilities, real estate construction financings, complex mortgage financings, workouts and restructurings, and hedging transactions.

  • Represented an institutional lender as exclusive arranger, administrative agent and lender in a maximum $220 million first lien mortgage loan secured by a high-end mixed use residential, commercial and retail development property located in Chicago, Illinois.
  • Represented the lender in $40 million loan facility to film and television studio production company based in New York.

  • Represented the lender in $40 million loan facility to film and television studio production company based in New York.
  • Represented a large U.S. bank in numerous term and revolving credit facilities made to restaurant chains, staging companies, and transportation and logistics providers.
  • Represented a bank in providing $100 million warehouse lending line of credit facility to CRE fund.
  • Represented an institutional lender in $70 million facility collateralized by mortgage loans in numerous jurisdictions including Alabama, Missouri, Arizona, New Jersey and Wisconsin.
  • Represented an international electronics manufacturer in lease of its U.S. headquarters.
  • Represented the lender on $30 million acquisition and predevelopment loan for a multiple parcel site in Brooklyn, New York, which involved mezzanine financing, environmental remediation and Brownfield Tax Credits and other environmental issues.
  • Represented a U.S. bank in mortgage warehouse lines of credit and in mortgage repurchase transactions.
  • Regularly represent a chain of specialty discount stores in retail leases throughout the New York Metropolitan area.
  • Represented a lender in connection with a $45 million construction loan for the redevelopment of resort property located outside of Houston, Texas.
  • Represented a seller in connection with the $30 million sale and $20 million purchase money mortgage of office portfolio.
  • Represented a not-for-profit entity in connection with the $8.5 million sale of four commercial real estate properties,
  • Represented a federally chartered savings bank in the sale, leaseback and redevelopment of its corporate offices and main branch.
  • Represented a lending institution in connection with a $14 million mortgage financing secured by first and second mortgages on a residential cooperative apartment building.
  • Represented a lending institution in connection with a $4 million secured revolving credit facility to not-for-profit school for the disabled.
