Brigette's practice is anchored in industries where regulatory risk drives litigation exposure. She regularly represents clients in energy and environmental disputes, including contractual, operational and regulatory issues, and advises on environmental enforcement and compliance under federal and state statutes—including toxic tort litigation involving evolving regulatory frameworks such as PFAS and PFOA hazardous substance regimes.  Brigette regularly advises clients on compliance strategy, regulatory investigations and agency negotiations, integrating litigation defense with proactive enforcement planning.

What distinguishes Brigette’s practice is her ability to anticipate how regulatory frameworks will be tested in litigation. Drawing on prior experience in the Texas Legislature and with a public affairs firm, she brings a working understanding of how legislative development, appropriations decisions and agency priorities translate into enforcement posture and litigation risk. She leverages that perspective to help clients structure positions early—before disputes arise—and defend them effectively when they do.

Brigette has played key roles in multimillion-dollar, multi-defendant litigation, including successfully preserving thirteen counts of liability through trial after defeating numerous summary judgment motions, prevailing on critical procedural motions in both civil and criminal matters, and defending against significant agency enforcement actions at both the trial and appellate levels.
