Gil brings a practical focus to electronic discovery that recognizes not just the importance of disciplined litigation support, but also the role of focused advocacy in addressing the burdens, costs and opportunities of discovery in modern complex litigation. As a trial lawyer and litigator, Gil is not simply an e-discovery consultant; he directs the discovery process in the trenches of litigation, informed of the risks and opportunities that electronically stored information presents. Gil is editor of, and a regular contributor to, BakerHostetler's <a href="http://www.discoveryadvocate.com/">Discovery Advocate</a>&nbsp;blog.
Gil is the author of numerous publications concerning e-discovery, is active in The Sedona Conference, serves on the Advisory Board, Planning Committee and Faculty of Georgetown Law's Advanced E-Discovery Institute, and regularly teaches seminars on electronic discovery and electronic evidence.
