As leader of the Cartel and Government Antitrust Investigations Task Force, Justin Murphy focuses his practice on government enforcement of complex antitrust, fraud and white collar criminal matters and defending against complex civil business litigation. A former federal prosecutor, he represents clients in all aspects of global and domestic antitrust, competition and business-related matters, including grand jury investigations; other government investigations with the DOJ, FTC or State Attorneys’ General offices; nationwide bet-the-company class actions; and other complex criminal and civil litigations. Justin represents clients across a broad range of industries and topics, including bid-rigging, price fixing, procurement fraud, labor market practices, no-poach, pricing algorithms and other AI tools, and monopolization. Justin provides practical and common-sense advice to clients and his experience acting as a first-chair trial attorney makes him a valuable asset to clients in investigations and litigation. He also has extensive experience with internal investigations, corporate governance and regulatory compliance and policies, follow-on civil litigation actions to cartel investigations, and trials and appeals.
