As BakerHostetler’s Director of Talent Engagement, Leah Fisher works closely with firm leadership to develop and execute on the strategy and formal framework to advance talent engagement across the firm. She has extensive experience serving as a talent management leader and human resources partner, overseeing performance management, work allocation and professional development initiatives for support staff and attorneys.
Leah previously led talent management initiatives at another Am Law 100 firm, where she designed and implemented a firmwide work allocation program to support equal access to billable hours; provided coaching and talent management support to lawyers; partnered with practice group leaders and office managing partners on talent strategies to support retention and advancement; and created specialized lateral integration initiatives for lawyers.
Drawing from her educational and professional background in law, Leah works in conjunction with firm management to uphold the strategic commitment to creating a firm culture that is a best place to work for all, and to transform the firm’s workforce to meet future client and community needs.
