Maria has experience with key employment law statutes, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA and FLSA. She regularly defends employers in discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims across the country and assists in preparing for labor arbitrations, including witness preparation and exhibit development and for employment discrimination cases and railroad whistleblower retaliation claims. Her work spans multiple industries, including transportation, manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, restaurant and consulting.

In addition to litigation, Maria conducts internal workplace investigations on issues such as harassment, discrimination and retaliation – both in the U.S. and in Spanish-speaking countries. Her focus is on helping clients maintain positive employee relationships and navigate the complexities of labor relations with confidence and clarity.
