Bisi Adeyemo is a privacy and technology lawyer who advises clients at the intersection of data, digital innovation, advertising, marketing and regulatory risk. Her practice is focused on helping companies navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of U.S. and global privacy, data security and advertising laws, with a particular emphasis on translating complex regulatory requirements into practical, business-oriented solutions.

Bisi regularly counsels clients on compliance with emerging U.S. state consumer privacy laws and evolving global data privacy and security frameworks. She works closely with in-house legal, compliance and business teams to design and operationalize privacy programs, assess data governance practices and mitigate litigation and regulatory exposure.

A core component of Bisi’s practice is advising on the legal and regulatory implications of digital advertising and marketing practices. She provides strategic guidance on the use of cookies, pixels, SDKs and other online tracking technologies; targeted advertising and personalization; consent and preference management; and the intersection of privacy laws with consumer protection and unfair or deceptive practices. Her practice frequently involves evaluating data use and sharing practices within complex adtech ecosystems, advising on third-party relationships, and supporting clients in responding to increasing regulatory scrutiny and enforcement trends.

Bisi advises brands on the structuring, drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements, including sponsorship and brand partnership agreements, influencer and creator contracts, and media buying and advertising placement agreements and the design and operation of customer engagement and retention strategies, including loyalty, rewards and promotional programs. She regularly counsels clients on intellectual property ownership and licensing, retail media networks, FTC endorsement and disclosure compliance, exclusivity and non-compete provisions, and campaign governance issues such as content approval rights and performance metrics.

In addition, Bisi is actively involved in technology transactions, where she advises on data-related risks in commercial agreements, product development and service agreements. She partners with clients to align legal risk management with business objectives, enabling the responsible use of data in complex and highly scrutinized digital ecosystems.

Drawing on her experience across a range of industries, including healthcare, media, telecommunications, retail and digital platforms, Bisi advises on issues spanning employee and consumer privacy, digital product development and data-driven business models. Her work frequently involves helping clients balance data-driven marketing initiatives, innovation and growth with compliance obligations in highly regulated and fast-changing environments.
