Jeremy Dunnaback is a litigator who represents clients in commercial matters. He has experience litigating a wide range of legal issues in both state and federal court, including commercial contracts, unfair competition and misappropriation of corporate information. Jeremy also has managed various aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, dispositive motions and settlement. 

Jeremy previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable John J. Tharp, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He also served as an Infantry officer in the U.S. Army’s First Infantry Division.


  • Represented manufacturer in high-stakes commercial contract and counterfeiting suit brought against former Europe-based distributor.
  • Represented Fortune 500 company and its subsidiary in actions against two former executives for misappropriation of company information. Team secured jury verdict against one executive and obtained judgment against the other after establishing executive deleted evidence.

Pro Bono

  • Led federal civil rights litigation on behalf of inmate seeking redress for First Amendment violation. Negotiated settlement on behalf of client.
  • Represented several defendants in Cook County criminal court in Chicago. In connection with those representations, argued motions and participated in plea negotiations.
  • Drafted motion to dismiss opposition brief in landlord-tenant dispute arguing for enforceability of municipal ordinance providing safeguards to tenants following the foreclosure of certain rental property. In partnership with legal aid organization, obtained settlement for client.
