  • Counsels hospitality clients regarding due diligence pertaining to labor and employment issues that arise during mergers, acquisitions, new business ventures, business consolidations and reorganizations.
  • Represent clients in labor arbitrations on wide range of issues such as disciplinary matters, the right to subcontract work, the ability to modify health insurance plans and the survivability of a card check neutrality clause after a collective bargaining agreement expires.
  • Advise clients on effective implementation of COVID-19 related policies and protocols.
  • Served as lead negotiator on a first contract between a nursing home with more than 300 employees and a union. Achieved a contract that enabled the nursing home to stabilize its labor cost despite the impact on its profitability of decreasing Medicaid reimbursement rates.
  • Provides day-to-day advice and counsel for a global media company involving the administration of its collective bargaining agreement, workplace policies, overall labor relations strategy, handbooks and other employment-related documents.
