Overview

Steven Samuels focuses his practice on patent litigation, patent procurement, and licensing. An electrical engineer by training, he represents companies in the fields of electronics, computer hardware and software, digital and analog communications, electrical power transmission, and business methods. After beginning his career with Woodcock Washburn in 1992, Steve spent three years at the end of the 1990s as assistant general counsel, Patents and Technology, at Unisys Corporation. This in-house experience enables Steve to bring a unique perspective to his representation of technology companies. Steve's ability to provide sound advice to his clients is also enhanced by his litigation experience, as he has helped clients achieve favorable results in a number of patent infringement suits.
