Overview

Steven Samuels focuses his practice on patent litigation, patent procurement and licensing. An electrical engineer by training, he represents companies in the fields of electronics, computer hardware and software, digital and analog communications, electrical power transmission and business methods.

At the end of the 1990s, Steve spent three years as assistant general counsel, Patents and Technology, at Unisys Corporation. This in-house experience enables Steve to bring a unique perspective to his representation of technology companies. Steve's ability to provide clients with sound advice is also enhanced by his litigation experience, as he has helped achieve favorable results in a number of patent infringement suits.

Steve is co-leader of the Electrical, Mechanical, and Computer Science Prosecution team for the firm and is the Philadelphia Intellectual Property Leader.
