Partner Artie McConnell was quoted in a <em>Bloomberg</em> article titled “Justice Department Prepares Crackdown on Trump Tariff Violators.” Published July 23, 2025, the article describes how the Justice Department is gearing up to enforce the tariffs that are being imposed around the world. McConnell states that it will be fairly simple to switch from the Biden-era focus on sanctions evasion and export controls to investigations targeting trade fraud, since it will involve the same agencies, personnel and investigative techniques.
