As a result of their work on a case that could have cost client Fifth Third Bank as much as $444 million in damages, Partners Karl Fanter and Dante Marinucci were named Law 360 Legal Lions of the Week.  Fifth Third faced a breach of contract claim for allegedly “charging its Early Access Cash Advance loan program customers a higher annual rate than it advertised and giving inaccurate summaries of those loans to borrowers.” But, as explained in “Law360’s Legal Lions of the Week,” published April 28, 2023, a federal jury in Ohio determined that the bank owes nothing.  <a href="https://www.law360.com/articles/1602122/law360-s-legal-lions-of-the-week" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Read the article.</a>
