HEADLINES
- President Joe Biden will deliver the State of the Union address Thursday.
- Lawmakers are working to pass a package of six annual appropriations bills before Friday’s new deadline after last week’s short-term punt.
- Voters in 16 states will cast ballots in Super Tuesday primaries, likely solidifying the presidential race between Biden and Donald Trump.
HOUSE
- The House will hold floor votes tomorrow through Friday, with plans to vote Wednesday on the funding package – a test for Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La.
- The Financial Services Committee on Wednesday will host Federal Reserve Chair Jay Powell, who will deliver the Fed’s semiannual monetary policy report.
- Also Wednesday, the Science, Space, and Technology Environment Subcommittee will hold a hearing on weather forecasting and modeling.

SENATE
- The Senate will be in session tomorrow through Friday, also taking up the Consolidated Appropriations Act.
- The Commerce Committee on Wednesday will receive testimony from National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Chair Jennifer Homendy regarding the NTSB Investigations Report.
- Powell will deliver the Fed’s semiannual report to the Senate Banking Committee Thursday.

WHITE HOUSE
- Tomorrow, Biden will host a meeting of his Competition Council at the White House.
- The president will deliver the State of the Union address Thursday.
- Friday, he will attend a campaign event in Philadelphia, followed by another in Atlanta Saturday.
