HEADLINES
- An attack on the White House Correspondents’ Dinner Saturday night was foiled before anyone was seriously injured.
- President Donald Trump will host King Charles III of the United Kingdom for a state visit.
- Budget season on Capitol Hill is in full swing, with several top officials testifying.
HOUSE
- The House will hold floor votes tonight through Thursday, with an ambitious agenda attempting to approve a reauthorization of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act authorities, the farm bill, and the Senate’s budget resolution.
- Cabinet officials appearing in budget hearings include Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin at both the Appropriations and Energy and Commerce Committees.
- Tomorrow, the Ways and Means Committee will hold a hearing with health system CEOs.

- The Senate will continue consideration of Trump’s administration nominees.
- Budget hearings include Zeldin, Education Secretary Linda McMahon, and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum.
- The Banking Committee will vote Wednesday on Kevin Warsh’s nomination to chair the Federal Reserve.
