Partners Artie McConnell and Eric Gyasi and Counsel Om Kakani co-authored an article for Intellectual Property & Technology Law Journal titled “When Trusted Access Becomes a Threat: The U.S. v. Linwei Ding Conviction and Escalating Insider Risk.” The article discusses how cybersecurity must have both an external and an internal focus, as trusted insiders can use their authorized access to steal intellectual property.
