  • Represented a marketing software platform technology company in its lawsuit against a competitor in a broad-ranging trade secret, trademark and trade dress infringement case, including obtaining an order for a mandatory adverse inference jury charge due to the defendants’ spoliation of evidence.
  • Represent a leading pharmaceutical company in establishing a trade secrets strategy and protocols for a plasmids supply program and drafting all related nondisclosure, joint venture and IP license agreements.
  • Led a trade secrets audit for an international family entertainment and media company, drafted a trade secrets protection program for its digital assets division and advised key personnel on best practices and procedures.
  • Represented two of the world’s largest oil and gas companies in two district court cases and two arbitrations over four years in the Southern District of Texas related to claims involving hundreds of alleged trade secrets and know-how concerning RFID-actuated technology for downhole tools. Prevailed in all four matters, including two dismissals, an arbitration trial win, successive summary judgment wins and appeal of summary judgment wins.
  • Represented one of the nation’s largest multichannel retailers in a trade secret, misappropriation of ideas, patent, copyright and contract case in the Southern District of New York. Successfully obtained summary adjudication eliminating 38 out of 40 of the alleged trade secrets and ideas and a Daubert ruling eliminating most of the plaintiff’s expert’s damages opinions before the case settled on confidential terms.
  • Represented a chemical manufacturing company in conducting an audit of its U.S. operations to enhance compliance with confidential and proprietary information governance policies and advised on improved trade secret protection processes.
  • Conducted an audit of multiple health care provider organizations’ care path protocols and AI-enabled data analytics, assessed their data assets for trade secret protection, and advised on best practice protections for the same.
