Jamie Kim advises clients on utilizing digital transformation to take advantage of market opportunities and improve their customer experiences in compliance with the growing patchwork of privacy regulations. With a focus on emerging technology both domestically and abroad, she provides clients with guidance on how U.S. and international laws affect privacy and developing technologies.
Jamie also structures comprehensive compliance strategies to ensure that clients meet the requirements of their state privacy laws as well as any international regulations and/or restrictions that might be involved. In addition, she is continuing to monitor the legal issues emerging in the areas generative artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Jamie's governmental background as an intern with the Computer Crimes and Intellectual Property Section of the Department of Justice and her clerkship at the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut provided her with keen insight on how to best approach certain issues in the court system. In private practice before her clerkship, she views matters from both the business and judicial sides.

- Provides guidance on comprehensive compliance strategies to meet the requirements of state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other similar legislation enacted throughout the U.S.
Tech and Commercial Transactions
- Collaborated with IncuBaker to deliver legal analysis for an international media company, pertaining to master agreements, licensing agreements and sublicensing agreements.
