At BakerHostetler, our well-rounded summer program offers students with the training, experience, and confidence necessary to begin the journey to become great lawyers who will enjoy their colleagues and their work.

The Orange County summer associate program is 10 weeks long, typically starting in May and concluding by the end of July. During this time, students will participate in firmwide and local trainings where they will learn important skills essential to be a successful attorney.&nbsp;

Mentoring

We assign a partner to supervise the summer associates and help them manage their workloads. Each summer associate is also paired with a mentor lawyer. Mentors assist their mentees in acclimating to the firm and answer questions regarding assignments, the summer program or any other questions that may arise during the summer.
